We're not responsible for what other people contribute to this site. The idea here is to help people. We should all be civil to each other. Our conduct should be moral, ethical, and legal.

If you post something here, it should be your own original thoughts and opinions. If you're copying from somewhere else, make sure you attribute the source and that you have permission to copy it. If you don't have permission, just post a link to the source so other people can get it themselves. A small excerpt is usually considered fair use and can accompany the link. If we get a complaint about a copyright violation we will investigate and remove the problematic content. In some situations, if you posted it, we might ask you to remove it and replace it with a link and small excerpt, or we might remove it first and then tell you.

We will make our best effort to moderate by removing harmful, offensive, or off-topic content. If you see such content, please flag or report it to bring it to our attention. If you post such content, expect it to be removed. If you keep doing it we may block your account. We think it's polite to warn people before doing something like that, but if the behavior is egregrious we won't bother with a warning.
